ElGendy industries is a family business that has been passed down generations since 1938.
It all started with a small machine shop in Shubra, Egypt that specialized in the repair of car engine’s cylinder head and small turning operations.
The business eventually grew and the factory had to be relocated to a bigger location in 1950 to accommodate the bigger workforce and larger machines.
The services offered now included rebuilding all types of engines including diesel and gasoline engines and machining any parts required for the engine’s assembly.
In 1977 we hit the milestone of having 100 employees and a new factory was acquired.
An additional service offered at the time was cylindrical grinding.
In 2005 a new factory was acquired in the 2nd industrial zone in 6th of October City in Egypt on an area with a total square footage of 18000 meters squared.
We now had the ability to bring in large machines to perform all machining operations on a big scale.
Our vision for the future is to manufacture a product or parts of a product so that we can utilize our factory space efficiently and expand our business.
